What We Do

TaKaTa Trumpets is located near Washington, DC in the heart of the mid-Atlantic region.   We feature Calicchio trumpets, and can arrange for you to try out several models of these exceptional horns.

Calicchio trumpets have a well-deserved reputation as 'commercial' horns, and for their incredible presence when recorded, but they'll surprise you with their versatility

 In addition, TaKaTa Trumpets publishes new music for trumpet and other instruments by composer Galen Tromble.

TaKaTa on the Road

I had a great time meeting people at Maryland Trumpet Day on October 17 in Bel Air, MD.  I gave an early morning clinic on the Range of Complete Control approach and exhibited Calicchio trumpets.
